interesting to note that Pacific names two of its foldies after animals.... Grin  The Frog is a cute little foldie while the Birdy flies in the wind.

interesting bikes.  i'm still convinced that the strida is the best one out there.  the 3.3's design and functionality blow the other brands out of the water!

wow!! Shocked so many folding bikes. Some are actually pretty ingenious design (abet the complexity). Do you have anymore of these folding bikes photos? I was kind of hoping for one that can fold until so small that I can put it into my pocket. Hahaha. Joking. Most bikes shown actually did not put in much after thoughts that what we are going to do after folding it. If I'm correct, think I saw just 2 of the bikes did consider seriously how a rider wants to handle the after it is folded.
In a highly urbanised city, it will be difficult and expensive to get around the city in a car. Using the public transport and going on foot to explore or commute about the city. A hah!! The folding bike!! Inexpensive mobility. But still, I was hoping for something that is going to be so small that it will not be a hassle to board crowded trains or buses with it. Cry

Heh, Strida is pretty good. So far, I think the simple design beats everything out there hands down plus there is much after thoughts of how a rider is going to handle the bicycle once is folded. (even though the handling is quirky and takes a bit of time to get used to) It will be even better if it is much lighter so that petite sized ladies can carry it through staircase.......(hope baru's idol is reading this... hahaha)

You always see full size bike in very light weight at expensive model.
But in 16" folding bike at 10 kg. is standdard of light weight (Strida is 9.7 kg. ,Dahon Prestolite at 9.5 kg.).
Maximum load is a point that you must compare too. Some bike lighter but maximun load less too.
Economic of material is may be can not make more light weight.
The light weight folding bike I've ever seen is 6.5 kg. on Panasonic 14" and 5 kg. of A-bike.
I never touch Pannasonic but A-Bike ever and my idea is not easy more to carry 5 kg.
Rolling 10 kg. of Strida is more easier and a normal performance bike when unfold.
May be I'm partial in Strida but I'm average from my daily use in 3-4 folding bikes.
Get one,Loose one is always happend in folding design.
