Hi folks! I just placed an order for a Strida 5 Sport yesterday. Hope to meet you all for the coming runway cycling 2007, provided the shipment arrive before the event.

Here's a little intro of myself. I've been cycling for the last 20 years or more, mainly on road bikes. Don't you think Strida is a fun bike? Don't say serious riders won't lay their eyes on Strida, I'm one who fall in love in it after looking at the pictures Baru send to me recently.

After I collect my bike, I intend to use it to for leisure rides around the island, as well as the NTU endurance 127km ride together with Steven. Anyone wanna come along? Come'on join us...the more the merrier. Awcute will join too but for only 5km ....haha! That's what you told me yesterday right?

See you all soon....chao! Wink

I took my new yellow strida out for a short ride today!

Not quite used to it as the handle is kinda 'loose' as compared to normal mountain bikes. However, the ride was smoother than I thought (on flat land) and it can actually go quite fast! I went slow for small small kerbs (those like maybe less than 5cm high)...partly not sure how well can the strida take such impact...partly i don't wanna 'tekan' such an expensive bike..hahaha... Cheesy

Grin  My friend smsed me to say she spotted a Yellow Strida in town today, was it you?

Dun worry, the Strida can go up kerbs, the senior Strida Riders will tell you that.  You must join us at the SAFRA Runway Cycling event to meet the rest!  Cheesy

awcute might want to consider this... left picture... bumble bee. See the yellow and grey... matching colours...
miloboi might like to use the latest bumble bee (movie) on the right.

I met Steven and Vivian in the shop last Sat, they are friendly and full of  Smiley

I hope to see many of u in the June event and to enjoy my very own Strida 5 real soon (arriving in end May?).

I got myself a Black Strida last saturday.... and been cycling to work the whole week. My colleagues are amused. And I've got a healthier activity rather than watch tv at nights :-P

From this posting far far a way to in page 1
SP - Small pouch
BS - Bell
FL - Front lights
RL - Rear lights
BM - Bar mirrors
CC - Cyclocomputer
HM - Helment
GS - Gel Seat
BP - Bike Pump
TP - Tyre Patch
BT - Bike Tools

What I dont understand why Bell becomes BS. I only know BS = Bull Smelly-dropping.
