Who would have guessed a big HK TVB star and an ex-beauty queen to boot would collect Birdy bikes as a hobby?

Well, we didnt expect such a stunning HK beauty to pop into Diginexx early this morning with her Marie France Slimming minder and Maxicab Uncle in tow to buy her third Birdy bike, an Birdy Monocoque Capreo (Ivory White) to add to her personal collection of Birdy Classic Capreo (Orange) and a Birdy Titanium Classic (valued at USD$5000!).

Bernice Liu (Liao Bik Er) is HK TVB's highest income earner in 2007, Nike Asia and Marie France Slimming's ambassador and star in the current cable show "Brink of Law" and latest TVB show, "Wasabi Mon Amour". 

She spoke of her 3 Birdy bikes that would keep her 5 dogs company at home and how she spent a lot of time researching on the Internet on folding bikes before laying her eyes on the Birdy.   She also shared that some of her friends also ride bikes and the Birdy too!

The first thing she said when she came into the shop was "Waa, I haven't seen so many Birdy bikes in one place!" 

Bernice turned out to be such an affable lady with exquisite taste, a sporty woman who knew her folding bikes well.

Bernice has put up some pics of her new Birdy in a box on her blog - there are two smiley faces on two chappies with Strida tee shirts with Bernice!
