Channel 8 News last night featured a news item on folding bike lifestyle in Singapore:

Here's the video link to Mediacorp's news website, xin.sg  http://www.xin.sg/article.php?article=23330.

Thank you David. You know what I did when one security guard complained about me brining in bicycle? I complain to HR. Then she (the security guard) stop complaining about it. I mean give me the list of rules saying no folding bicycle, then I follow. If no explicit rule then I take it as it is not prohibited and thus I am free to bring in.
Some of these people often cite that it will dirty the building etc, so I challange them to prove that the bike dirty the building. If the bicycle tyre (used in city cycling) dirty the building then all the people must leave their shoes outside too!

Awcute, u could follow my way.  Bring along ur Strida Bag.  Pack it inside & bring it into ur office.  There is a difference in perception as compared to "naked" strida.

The original strida bag is quite leceh actually and the problem is not in the office but more on entering the building. Anyway it is no longer a problem  Cheesy
If it is in office I think I could throw a blanket or camo-net like those in army and hide it near the office indoor plants, guerilla style.  Grin
