The old uncle you mentioned riding the Carry Me is Uncle George Lin - he is the Chairman of Pacific Cycles and proud maker of Birdy, Gaap, Koma. Banshee, Tartaruga, Greenspeed among others. Uncle George designed the Carry Me that comes in both the single speed and the dual speed versions.
He is a hearty old man who is very young at heart and super fit. And Carry Me is seriously an 8 inch engineering wonder!
