In its latest issue (now out at bookstores and petrol stations), SPIN Asia holds an exclusive interview with William Butler-Adams, Managing Director, Brompton Bicycle Ltd when he visited Diginexx. He was accompanied by Quinton Pullinger, Brompton's Marketing Manager (Asia). William, Quinton and Steven cycled everywhere in Singapore, even to the zoo when they paid just $3 each for the safekeeping of their Bromptons as they visited the zoo.

In this exclusive interview, Will explains how the Brompton has continued to be hand-made in London even after 25 years and why the pursuit of perfecting this one and only steel bike in the Brompton factory has become such an important factor in its ever-popularity among commuters worldwide.

Please click on the pdf document of the interview as shown in Spin's latest issue.

The Brompton bike remains the only one of two bikes still being made in the United Kingdom and the Brompton is still hand-brazed (which makes the steel frame so much stronger and rigid as it introduces copper to braze the two joints of a frame together, making the frame with much less distortion. Hand brazing is a traditional frame-building technique rarely seen in the commercial bike world and skilled craftsmen are required.

Brompton is so proud of their frame-building that there is a five year warranty on the frame.

You can place a pre-order for a much coveted Brompton - it will be available in two-speed, three-speed and six-speed models.  For more information, please email us at contact@diginexx.com.

While stocks last.  The queue for a hand-brazed Brompton is never short, as many owners will agree.
