A fake Strida bike distributor that distributed fake Strida bikes to HomeFix stores and Mustafa has apologised in Straits Times for infringing the Strida trademark in Singapore.   Attached is the official apology that was published on Wednesday 18 March 2009.

Ming Cycle, the maker of Strida has also crushed a batch of fake Stridas (from China) at their factory yesterday in Taichung and it made the news.   Ming staff noted that the fake bikes emitted some odious and possibly poisionous fumes/smell from the substandard quality paintwork and plastic parts and decided to immediately crush them!

The TV news item is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNKKbjtC_7Y

The fight against fake bikes continues!
