I've just purchased a strida mini and I'm a little worried I might've made the wrong choice. I've been looking for information on how people find riding the strida mini in comparison to the regular sized strida. I am just at the minimum height for a regular strida and maximum height for a strida mini. I like the strida mini, because it is easier to maneuver folded. It feels a little wobbly riding in comparison to the strida 5 and as I'm at the maximum height for the mini, with the seat at the right height, my feet are barely touching the ground. Does riding the strida mini just take some getting used to? If strida mini riders could please respond, please let me know your height too. Thank you.

Hi Newtostrida, what color is your Strida Mini? And where did you get your Strida?

You should check with the bike shop for some suggestion. Maybe they can do some special for you  Wink
If you are at the maximum height on a Strida Mini, it can be very wobbly in steering and dangerous. Look at the Strida 2 speed model and see if there is a trade-in scheme from the bike shop you got your Mini.

Thanks for replying. I'm curious if you ride a strida mini and how tall your are, awcute?

I thought that any height within the min-max range would be okay for the bike size. I'm not above the maximum height. I've read of riders at maximum height for the regular Strida that seem to manage okay.

I never measure my height when riding bicycle.
It depends on how you ride also.
Are you an aggressive cyclist? Do you like hills? it is dangerous for downhill.
That is all I can say, esp with disc brake where it can locks and basically the front wheel becomes a pivot. The taller you are the harder you fall - it is the principle of physics.
I am not saying you fall on your butt. You will fly over and land on your face more likely or you will flip. That is the maximum risk.
But that is achievable only if the speed is roughly 30 km/h. At 10 km/h I think not a problem, no enough momentum to flip over.

I'm not a very aggressive cyclist. I don't look for hills to ride down. I am getting more comfortable on the strida and it feels fairly normal to ride now. Smiley Thanks.
