Still trying to master the art of riding with one hand and the other hand trying to make the shots.
Some didn't come out so well. These are those that is at least still acceptable.
As usual, let me know if you like to have a bigger size photo as these that I have posted are resized.

Both of you are most welcome. Sorry, I did not "register" for the ride and just causally join the group ride. Tongue And drop out half way as I need to be somewhere else without enough time to get to Changi Village and back.

Didn't count. Presume to be 50/50 Tongue

This is a zoom in of one of the photo posted earlier.
Didn't notice until I zoom in to take a closer look.
LOOK at the twin victory sign!!! Wink
No photoshop magic except for cropping and sharpening up the photo.

Another victory sign pose that I have forgot to post.
Everything is perfect. The smile, the sign, the person and bicycle nicely centered(no cropping needed) but.... camera is focused on the background instead of the subject.... sign.... really sorry man....

Wink  Thank you Coolthought for "living dangerously" as in taking pics and cycling at the same time and your speedy uploading of pics.  It took skill so we appreciate your kind help! The nasi lemak meal was great, with Awcute queuing patiently for the famed dish and Strida Singapore footing the bill.  David and Meng How aka Will5555 did the reverse route, on top of that, cycled from Changi Village to Lavender Street!!! This time, all was prepared for the hot weather cos most of us lathered ourselves with sunscreen!

Oklah, good of you to have join us in our ride, welcome to the Strida Riders! You are now one!  Cheesy

Grin get the Sony GPS link to the Sony camera. Good idea for bikers. Comes with software linked to Google Earth.
All you need to do is to switch the GPS on before u start shooting. You need clear overhead to pin your location.

Ah Hah!!! I have seen him carrying that thingy on top of his topeak bag mounted behind his Strida while we are on the way to Sungei Rengit. I have ask him a few times.... "errr... that thing is a gps antenna hor?" Reply was"yah" (or something like that) Didn't quite know what it really is until I saw that post. Maybe I should have phrase my question properly next time. Undecided

I have seen an oversea blog with that fantastic map in the blog showing all the pictures that he/she has taken and its location. It is interactive and not like the one posted by StridaSingapore boss (even though it look exactly the same).... still trying to keep something up your sleeves??.... Shocked

It is about the size of a D size battery (maybe 2 D size batteries). Pretty neat and highly portable.

Quote from http://www.dpreview.com/news/0608/06080202sonygpscs1.asp
Using time and location recordings from Sony’s GPS-CS1 GPS device and the time stamp from a Sony digital still camera or camcorder, photo buffs can plot their digital images to a map and pinpoint exactly where they’ve been.

The 12-channel GPS unit is 3-½ inches long, weighs two ounces, and is sold with a carabineer to easily attach to a backpack or a belt loop.

“Whether you’re traveling to the Seven Wonders of the World, or just wondering where to buy your next house, our new GPS device can track your journey,” said David Johns, product manager for digital camera accessories at Sony Electronics. “Adding a geographic context to your digital images helps organize and make use of your photos in entirely new ways.”

To arrange your pictures geographically, import the logged data from the GPS device, using the supplied USB cable, and then download the digital images to a computer. The supplied GPS Image Tracker software synchronizes the images on your digital camera with the latitude, longitude and time readings from the GPS-CS1 device.

Once synchronized, your photos can become virtual push pins on an online map by activating the Picture Motion Browser software bundled with the latest Sony cameras and camcorders released after July. You can easily add new photos and coordinates to the mapping web site, courtesy of Google Maps, and showcase years of globe-trotting.

Retail for about US$150. However, it can only works with Sony cameras and camcorder released after July 2006.
There are actually 2 different models. GPS-CS1 and GPSCS1KA. The later model will work with any digital camera that is compliance with Exif 2.1. So...go check whether your digital camera has this compliance before rushing out to buy a new Sony camera.

Dun need la.
I dun like that where you have to mouse over the point to see the picture.
If I want the picture, I have to dig the codes and sometimes even impossible if all are fully flash.
You can't right click and save picture, plus sometimes not working well with firefox or opera. Sad
